Helpfound

Web Accessibility

At HelpFound, we want everyone to be able to use our website, no matter their ability, technology, or situation.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA wherever possible. This means our site should be:

Perceivable – information and user interface can be seen or heard clearly.

Operable – all functionality is available from a keyboard and assistive technology.

Understandable – content is written in plain English, with clear navigation.

Robust – works across different browsers, devices, and assistive tools.

What we’ve done

• Used simple, clear language.

• Ensured good colour contrast between text and backgrounds.

• Added descriptive alt text to images.

• Structured pages with proper headings (H1, H2, H3) for easier navigation.

• Made buttons and links large enough for easy tapping on mobile.

Ongoing improvements

We know accessibility is an ongoing process. We review new content and features regularly to maintain and improve accessibility.

If you find a part of the site that’s hard to use, please let us know. We welcome feedback and will do our best to fix issues quickly.

Technical standards

This website is built using WordPress + Elementor and aims to be compatible with:

• Current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)

• Assistive technologies including screen readers and speech recognition software

Limitations

While we try to ensure full accessibility, some older PDFs and third-party tools may not yet meet the same standard. We are working to improve or replace these where possible.
